In the third season of Princess Margaret travels to the United States and meets President Johnson. These scenes were shot at Hylands House in Essex.
This villa bears a striking resemblance to the northern facade of the US President's headquarters. This Grade II listed neoclassical villa is owned and operated by Chelmsford City Council; it used to host the annual music festival, V Festival and is often rented out for weddings and private events.
