Located in the county of Gloucestershire, the estate is known for its gardens, where viewers get a taste of when Charles gives his mother the Queen a tour during the Season 4 episode 'Favourites'.
In both seasons 4 and 5, Somerley House stands in for Highgrove. Somerley is a large country house in Hampshire, it was previously used as a filming location for a TV adaptation of Jane Austen's Mansfield Park.
