Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace features heavily in The Crown, but was not available as an actual location for the production team. Instead, the Queen's residence was recreated with several stately homes across the country, Wilton House.

However, those scenes where Camilla goes to visit Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace were shot at Lancaster House, one of the many locations that represent the Queen's iconic London home. It is usually closed to the public, but occasionally it opens its doors for a special event.
