Mr Bean tries to hitchhike

Mr Bean and Stepan want to take the bus to Cannes when Mr Bean loses his bus ticket. The bus ticket gets stuck to the leg of a chicken which is loaded into a vehicle and drives off. Mr Bean gives chase on a bicycle. Eventually the bike breaks down and Mr Bean tries to hitchhike further.

This scene was filmed on the D927 southwest of the village of Cormainville. In the view of 2011, the water tower can just be seen which can be seen in the scene with the Solex.

The barn where Mr. Bean being locked up appears to be a prop as it does not appear on Google Street View. The wind turbines that can be seen on the horizon are not visible in the film. The wind farm was built in November 2006, the shooting was in May 2006.
