The circus from the Diamond
Bassie & Adriaan: De Diamant
During the recordings, the circus (Circus Renz) stood on the lawn of the De Engh event site on the Soesterengweg in Soest for the series, Bassie & Adriaan and the Diamant.
Although the position is in a different street and unfortunately could not be placed on the lawn, this gives the idea where the circus was. The white building is still there and can also be seen in an aerial recording of the song: The circus is back in town.
In the Soester Courant of Wednesday, August 8, 1979, under the heading: Circus show Renz in Soest, it also read: ''During the show, television recordings were also made for the series, De Diamant.
