Bassie & Adriaan: Het geheim van de sleutel
The circus (Circus Renz) was during the recordings for the series, Bassie & Adriaan and the Secret of the Key, in the village, Riel (North Brabant) near Tilburg, on the Dorpsplein near the Kerkstraat in Riel. The church (H. Antonius Abt kerk) and the houses on the left are still there and have not changed much, the house on the right was built later.
In Episode 1 and in the song, The Show Is About to Begin, the church can be seen in the background.
At the end of episode 3 Bassie & Adriaan leave the circus and then go on holiday.
This location was unknown for years, but thanks to Tim Flentge of the Facebook group, Dutch Religious Heritage, he recognized the church and thus the location where the circus once stood.
